Yeah, they should be replaced, but no metal dragging, so still functional.

Is there any other sign of contact?

That inboard pad looks like it worn on an angle. Bet the caliper was stuck and not sliding. Both pads are heat glazed, another symptom if bad caliper movement

Not sure yet. It went crunch, grind, crunch, grind, grind. On a mountain road. Pulling right hard. Sounded front left. It appears the pad is gone. Was above 70% in October. Has a couple thousand miles since then. My guess is the old pads disintegrated on the left side. No warning. I should have taken them out a while ago. It will all be new when I get to it.

I was looking back and something isn't adding up.

It feels like the brakes are making it pull right but it sounds like front left? If it was a stuck caliper or sticky brake or stiff bearing I would think it would pull left then.

How does the other side look?

Wheel bearings?

He said he has hubs coming but didn't see bearings in the list, I wonder what he saw.

I'm just wondering what was making the noise and making it pull, everything looks fine there.
I think a chunk was lodged in it, then released. Was not as bad after a few applications.
I agree, stuck caliper?
It was free when I used the clamp to compress the pision before I remove the clip retainer bolt.

I have not pulled the other side yet. I won't do just one side.

Bearings are assumed with new hubs.
Don't forget to replace your rubbers so you don't have an accident... Looking at the condition of the parts compared to the description of the event, I would expect a failed rubber hose that acted as a check valve holding the brake caliper.
Replaced when I first got it. Rear line also.

Amazon boxes things so they pack well into the delivery vehicle, so sometimes you'll end up with a heavy smaller item in a large flimsy box like Wade has there. They'll usually toss a couple air cushions in for good measure. They love to package my monster 15 pack with my dog treats to make sure the treats are properly pulverized by the time they get here.
