Got the front brakes and spindles done.

Then I climbed on the struggle buss. The rear reservoir was way low. No leaks. I wanted to bleed the rear just because. I shouldn't have. The rear bleeders are stuck. Nothing I had would turn them and they stripped the hex off.

I fought getting them out for way too long.

Axle is ready to drop out tomorrow afternoon.

Always something, pretty sure you will have turned every nut and bolt on it now.

I use my oxy / ace torch with brazing tip for PIN POINT heat . Then spray / dump cold water on . I can get 98% of bleader screws out no problem . And i live in the rust belt :deal: . . . . And yes them narrow c&c axles SUCK to get in at the bleader screws . If axle out i hook up and do it before u-bolts go on and spring pack in the way .

When they p1ss me off I get new wheel cylinders lol.
Fug fighting them.

Trying to avoid pulling the drums.

That one of the ones that you have to pull bearings and all to get the drums off?
I've gotten lucky and all mine have had the slip on drums so far.
(Knock on wood) Lol.

Might have had one of the other at one point...
Can't remember exactly now.:dunno:

I've got a bleeder wrench specifically for the C&C axles. It still sucks, lol.

I could be odd (I know I know)….but I actually like full floaters where the drum pulls with the hub…I’ve had so many slip on drums fight me coming off over the years, once you take the bearings out the drum is usually coming rigs off unless the shoes are really messed up or have a huge lip.

I've had to knock the lugs out of an older 14FF to pull the hub and leave the drum attached. Adjuster was rusted solid and the drum had a big enough lip to hold it on. But without the studs, the bearing hub came off and I could access the brake hardware and release it from the backing plate.
