Richard's Funky Fire Truck

Steering went back to normal. Best I can guess is there was a little air that got into the system. Maybe some fluid bounced out and air got in... I'm not too sure but it ran fine on Sunday.

I'd like to keep the sway bar on this truck. I notice it being a lot more stable when loaded. I don't have a sway bar on blazer and while it rides well without it, I won't be comfortable hailing heavy loads.

Ride is great. I drove out with no shocks and ran deulings old shocks at dunes and home.

They are 4 inch hd TC with an easy inch shifted one inch forward and a 1 inch body lift from Kert with all new rubber bushings.

The rear is kerts flip with cross tied shackles and billstiens I bought for the front of the blazer so they are a little too big but work for now.

How did it ride with no shocks on the trip out?

I wonder what the difference is... :dunno:

ORD springs and a reid racing knuckle

the latter being my best bet as to why that truck is ****ed and drives wicked crooked because everything was fine before.

Richard has very bad luck buying parts from vendors, they never fit right. When they have that %5 negative rating on product reviews etc. That is richard

I should have sent that ****ing knuckle back but unfortunately it was in my truck I was driving.

Just exploring some logging roads

Looks nice, but I do wonder how a M1102 trailer would look for a bed?

thank god that crap is out of my shop :haha:

now I got a little breathing room again . . .

and look at the angle on that shackle :eek1:

There's my favorite surplus cabinet/table thing

Shackle angle??...looks like you need some more...another 10* or so then you'll be close to mine ;)
