Rockwelled K5 build on Toyota board

like sh!t i thought i had drag slicks on! boggers suck on the rubicon i was just spinning all four on granite slab going up the steps, then the truck slid to the drivers side and the drivers tire fell off a step and almost rolled back down the slabs. i will never buy bogger to run on the rubicon again

a 2wd toy tranny is 21 spline and the 4x4 toy trans are 23. i got the advanced adapter trans and tcase adapter with a sleeve inside to mate them up,

No idea on the 2wd's, but normal 4wd's are 21 spline, transmissions that came behind turbo motors are 23 spline.

Thanks for the info. Are the tires grooved up or completely stock? I've been told that grooved up Boggers work well under a heavy rig on the 'Con. But a lot of people I know that used to run Boggers under a heavy rig are now running the 44" Pitbull Rockers and absolutely love them.

well they are groved but have alot of wear from the hammers, i bet if i had better boggers it would have done better on the trail, i did not think about how wore they are

holy crap! thats alot taller looking then mine is!

Yeah, I've talked to the owner of that rig in the past and he has said that he's running somewhere between 8"-10" of lift. Plus he has that body mount setup where the body is isolated from the frame with springs so the body doesn't flex and twist when the frame does. Kinda clever if you ask me. I just don't like that visor on the cab and the narrowed and dovetailed body.

the rear shock hoop sits high cause i mounted the shocks on top of the mounting plate for the springs but im just going to wait till i have the money to link the rear and change it all around

ya it flex's really good cause the rockwells weigh so much the springs and shocks dont really have much of a choice but to flex! im just waiting for a shock to blow up from seperation

Yeah I guess those axles would make just about any spring flex...:D

I was just looking and noticed that you hit the rti ramp again after putting on the shocks and they limited you a bit...
