Pickup A pillar and halo, 79-91 blazer B pillar and then the pickup B pillar used at the C pillar. Then we'd need two more tubes to connect the B pillar and C pillar hoops. We'd need to add two tubes which we don't have the length for but might be better to add after the install is underway and exact length can be determined.

How is it tied in at the bottom? Is that just bolted to the floor with one of your stacked cage flanges? Do you provide frame tie-ins, or no?

What diameter tube was used for the center windshield section? 1.25"?

I'd guess from the photos, the dash bar looks to be 1.25" and the "v" shaped support in the center looks to be 1". This is a customers install so I don't have all the details on the additional tubes that were added to the base kit.

What you see in the photos are staked cage plate kits but specific to the cage kit. Our standard staked cage plates are symmetrical while these are offset to get the plate fully to the side of the cab where the tube will land.

Frame cage tie in kits at this time are not included in that price. All four points in this kit attach in a spot where some reinforcement should be considered. Whether that be back to the frame or not is up to you. Personally, I'd use frame cage tie in kits or if your body is solid mounted, then just some tubing back to the frame would get the job done.

Keep in mind, these cage kits are intended to be a starting point for a complete cage. These tubes represent the bulk of the work for a good cage in our trucks. The rest of the tubes could be fabricated in most garages fairly easily.

Some options we may add in the future,

Seat belt bar
Door bar
Dash bar
Seat mount bars
Blazer family cage
Frame cage tie in kit, solid and poly

The problem with the majority of these pieces, depending on how the base cage is installed, there will be variances from one cage to the next. If you want a cage, more than happy to help you out. We can help with the add on tubes but it really is best if you install the base cage and we figure out your add ons with you and make them fit specific to your cage.

I'm pretty easy to talk to so if you want to discuss things, give me a shout.

I really like the upper seat belt anchor integration. Great idea, well executed! :waytogo:

This is the thing I love most about Kert and DIY4X, he will modify pretty much any product he sells to fit the needs or style of your vehicle
