Holland Oh.
What do you think
I was In rush hour traffic bumper to bumper on I-75 running 75mph + when some ass came right over at me, I had to go Into the median of the Interstate on wet grass, tried to get back on the road but by now every one was slowing down to see what was going to happen. I was still full speed so I had to turn back In to the median, well she rolled "5" times!!! Walked a way two small cuts 1/4" a peace and a black and blue left side!!! I believe If I would have been In any thing other the a Burban I would be, DOA...

I walked a way!!!.jpg

A nother look!!.jpg

i think you might need a young priest and an old priest to bring that back to life.

What happened man? everyone okay?

!!!!

Wow thats a sad burb!
Glad you are ok.

What are your plans? Looks like you need a doner rig to fix that... or a new burb.

dude you can fix it right up with a slide hammer, bondo and a little touch up paint.....glad your alright. Have any before pics?

damn that burbed saved your life allright, would like to see a civic do that and let the driver walk away.

i bet your sore now eh? guess you will be parting a suburban soon lol

at least you got that purdy red one:D

Did that once in a 76 pickup. The top taco'd in to about chest high and I too walked away with just a pretty good cut on the top of my head.

Course apparently I was way beyond drunk at the time so that might have somethin to do with it.

Oh and I wasn't wearin a seat belt either.

Nuthin like standin on the side of the freeway watchin your truck burn less than a quarter mile from your house.

Good to hear you're ok, sorry to see your Burb in that condition, but i have to say now, especially since we know that everyone IS ok,,,

two words,,,,,,"TRAIL RIG !!!!!" :o

and i'm interested in those black center caps if ya are willing to part with them :D

That's why I like full size metal. No knock on a ricer, but you never would have walked away. Glad to hear that you are alright. I'll bet that was one hell of a sight. :eek1: :eek1:

glad to see yer ok. thats why I drive the big led sleds too. :waytogo: and also why i tend to swerve towards instead of away from people :D

Is that you in the red sweatshirt?.....

The windshield area looks pretty good considering the rollover. I guess it all comes down to fate, if the truck had hit slightly different, that roof might have caved in a lot worse. Count your blessings!

That pic is a good endorsement for rollcages even for "street trucks" if you ask me. Your Burb was pretty low to the ground (compared to most of what's on this site) and it still rolled HARD! If you had been in that red Burb instead, odds are the roll would have been even more violent, and you'd be posting this message from a hospital bed, and not your own house!!! :yikes:

A ricer would have smashed a lot worse, but then again it might not have rolled either.....hard to tell, but I'd rather play the odds and crash in something BIG.

:usaflag:

I don't mean to sound like a a## but why do you think It would have been more violent If I was In (Big Red)   Forward momentum Is the same for a stock truck or one with 12" of lift!!! Today thing's are made with crumple zone's Well any Suburban 92 or newer has crumple zone's. So on older rigs, a big lift can work like crumple zone's. Think about INDY cars doing endo's!! Oh ya the black one did have a body lift, for all you who think they are unsafe!!! Oh, Im am not In any of these photo's do to the rule's of the witness relocation program!!! LOLOLOL :D :D :D

Your a lucky guy. I can't see the pic because I am a loser and have no membership but rolling a rig 5 times and walking away, someone is looking out for you. I perfer to drive a big rig. I consider it to be safer than air bags and all that other stuff. I ride the line a lot of times to let people know a big rig is coming so move over. hehe :D
