RPM's too low at 65 mph, what's up with that?

I thought your recommendation to the carb shop was the help. It isn't the fuel pump, it isn't the tranny and the ignition is new. That leaves the carb and I'm going to look at the shop you posted. Or are you saying you rebuild carbs? I also can't drive down to Fremont whenever I have a problem and I wouldn't want to drag you over here for trivial stuff. So, sometimes I muddle through a problem until I get it figured out. I'm not ungrateful for offers of help, but I also don't want to lean to hard on other folks if I can do it myself, or have it done locally.

I guess the carb shop is your best place to start if you think it's a carb issue.

I've offered to come over in the past to help with a fuel/vapor lock issue but don't know what ever happened with that.

When i offer up my help by saying i will come over to lend a hand it's no big deal to me otherwise i wouldn't be offering the help. Sometimes what someone considers a small problem could actually be a big problem or vise versa and all i have to say is that i've spent the last 29 years working on vehicles of all kinds so i have plenty of experience under my belt.

Take it as you may, but i've offered to help. I can lead a horse to water but i certainly can't make him drink.

.....and also:

You can lead Scott to a tri-tip steak sandwich, but you'd better not get too close after that!!! :saweet:

By the way, I make the best Tri-Tip on the face of the planet. One of these days I'll make it out to a run and treat the attendees...
