I need to get some wheels and tires that I can put on the Jimmy I bought a month ago. Some smaller tires so i can fit in my garage. Before with the blazer i used chevy hd 2500 16" wheels on the 8 lug dana 44. they barely cleared the brakes and tie rod,but they worked.

I tried the same wheels and they wouldn`t even come close to fitting over the calipers and rotors on the 60 in the Jimmy.

has anyone run the dodge 2500 17" wheels on a chevy dana 60 ? I was told they are the same lug pattern.don`t know if the offset will work either.

any suggestions on some cheap common wheels that will fit so I can get in the garage ?
H2 wheels around here get top dollar.

They are tucked up under pretty good like 5.5" backspace. A good 2" spacer makes em look nice imo.

do you think they would clear without the spacer ? just need some rollers to get in the garage. my garage has a flat roof so figure 8' minus the header and garage door thickness.

You should be good to go with the 17” dodge wheels.

Hard to believe the 16s didn’t fit? Every first and second gen dodge came with 16s? Although I have to say that I tried a set of 16.5 Gm steel wheels on my 02 Duramax and they rubbed on the front calipers.... thought that’s was weird!

First gen and second gen 16s are very different in backspace. First gen are practically identical to our gm wheels. Second gen are deep backspace.

I think youll be ok stock but not sure about aftermarket steering arms.

I didn’t know that, but thinking about it makes sense with the change from leaves to coils.

Same bolt pattern and will fit. But they "Require" bulge acorn lug nuts. Just for rolling in the garage you may be fine with non bulge. If you can get the factory lug nuts from the truck they came off of even better. They are high back space but that'll be fine for rolling on small tires.

Thanks will pick up a set of them and let you know what happens.dodge wheels and tires are between $50 -$200 all day for a set of 4
. The jimmy has ord crossover and arm ,but not high steer.
It has 15" by 8" wheels with 2.75" backspace. unground calipers. its so tight you can barely see light between the calipers and wheels.
Its a old build.next thing to deal with is to figure out the crazy amount of play in the steering.

well i ended up getting some dodge 2500 aluminum wheels for almost free. they were 17x8 38 back space .they would not fit because the tire rod hit.
so I looked around and finally found a deal on h2`s. picked a different looking set up from 2007 going to mount some low pro tires on them to get into the garage then score a set of h2 wheels with tires for $200.five spoke wheels are the dodge wheels.8 spoke is the other kind of h2 wheels, last is the jimmy with the more common looking H2`s.

I did bone stock c/k 8 lug rims and 205/55/16 tires off a subaru car . On a k30 454/4L80/205 and 6in / 3in lift combo i just clear a 7ft garage door held up all the way.
