The later one is the one you want.
The best set up is the Chevy trans with a Dodge bell and input. You need an adapter to mount a 205, well at least mine did, but with the Chevy trans it will take the 205 that you already have.
The only other issue with the Chevy trans is as far as I know they do not make a fix for the fifth gear nut. So you weld it, no biggy but the Dodges you can get a new shaft and stuff.

its a $600 paper weight on the basement floor since new. and I have 6 sticks of dom on the garage floor to use it on. im jealous also
