Ryoken's 89 Crew Cab Tubebed build... aka Mutt....

In that last pic it seems like it needs a plow. :)

hmmm, I had never thought about it... that front bumper top tube is a perfect spot for a couple plow lights.. it would make a sick plowrig, especially with a 6BT in it... no purpose for me tho really... I would never consider it, pretty rough on parts too...

yeah, I didn't really think you'd want to go that route for making money with the truck. It's kinda too nice for that, but sitting there in the snow like that it looks like a real work truck and around here (mountains of Utah) all the work trucks have plows on them so it seemed to fit.

I can definitely picture that.. with the amber lightbar too... I can weight-out the back easy enough too.... tho I'd wanna have the back bagged at that point too...

if I lived where some of you guys live? yeah, no doubt.. here , meh, landscapers do plowing mostly.. I wouldn't want to do it on the side for money.... not worth beatin the rig up for some unpredictable income randomly in the winter...

With your annual winter layoffs, plowing might be a good way to supplement your income while you have the off time. Who plows the marina?

those where the 2 pertinent points I left out of the last post.. and I knew that while typing it... :haha:

yup, it is ideal timing for me... but the hassle of liability/insurance, etc isn't worth my time to go thru that... now if I had an ulterior motive like a big drive, own house, etc than I might say different..

my marina yard guy does it for Newark airport in the winter.. not his rigs, but... he makes a f*ckton working for that guy..

and the marina, meh.. nobody plows it.. we used to with our little tractor, but that's pretty pathetic.. recent yr's, we call our 1 customer with a plow and he comes and makes few passes for a nominal fee... if I owned the place, sure.. as an employee, not worth the hassle/cost for the "favor" I'd have to do probably..

actually I was in good shape like that.. needed a phone card, everyone's been burning up my minutes lately... :doah:

well, family with surgery/pup questions...

plus I've been yakking with some old skate bro's lately.... thus the possible recent rekindling of my stooopidity...

sigh.. I'm the first time wacko for making a puppy build..... it was a poke at you cuz you didn't understand the joke of a puppy build..

Ahh. I must have read it too quickly. That is kinda funny!

:haha:

I think it would best fit in the "other rides" category. The normal categories aren't expecting this kind of build. :thumb:

Really!?!? 308 pages of this to go through??? Lol I skimmed through 133 pages so far. My wife fell asleep on the couch a few hours ago so there were no interruptions. :D So I take it you are a boat mechanic also? Most days I would rather crawl behind the toilet in my kids bathroom and eat peanut butter off the floor than work on most people's moldy nasty stuff.

So I take it you are a boat mechanic also? .

my sympathies..... :haha:

trust me, I have to play with skanky-arse vaccu-flushes on a daily basis... :doah: :haha: yeah, marine mechanic/glass guy, yada... work on mostly 27' to 55' stuff these days...

I suggest just skimming pics! ;)

hehe, ya think this ones bad, you should read my other novel.... :doah:

Mutt's Journal Day 3:
"I don't think my plan to blend in with the mid sized sedans and SUV's is working. Not sure why."

Mutt + society = Lemmy at a rap convention.......

Ahhhh.... yeah I hate boats. I'll finish skimming pictures eventually. My problem is that I see pics I like so I read the post and then I forget to go back to skimming. Mutt is awesome though. Makes me wish I was closer to starting on my CC.
