I'll have to try and sneak an order in before I get tube... thats gonna be pricey.. i see "rebuilt" window motors are friggin $100 there at classic parts... i don't mind a few hundy for felts, etc, but $225 for new 2 motors bumps that up to 5, 600 real quick... i'd like to do both the front motors while I'm in there, as they both are weak and slow as molasses, especially the ds obviously.....

But i dont see anything listed for the rear.
 
Paul, the color of your K5 is copper, is it a custom mix, or a stock color for something?

It looks eerily similar to the Mango Tango I want for the bike, have you happened to have done a comparison of the two?

Is it a pearl type?
 
I noticed that after i said something. But then i didnt see any of the chanel felts for the rear. Maybe i would end up just having to order those from LMC.

I bet the front door ones would work, just might need to be trimmed...

it's off the dupont fleet chart. convoy gold C2370


that one you posted is definitely a bit more copper, and a bit darker.. reminds me of TREA18's rig's color...

i actually like those colors a bit better than mine.. i call it copper, but it is much more "gold" than the others...

reason i picked that one is i was looking for a color to change the white to, that would contrast well with the stock dark gm brown metallic... so it needed to be a bit lighter...

i really like a lot of the cooper/bronze/persimmonish type colors... i also like a pewter/platinum that's got a bit of gold/copper in it...

oh, I know, me too..

I'm sooooooo chomping at the bit to do that.. i talked to my welder bud, he set aside some angle for the bed mounts, and some 1" x 1" for seat brackets.. gonna pick that up one day next week...

realistically, I probably wont bend the first tube on that till the beginning of sept unfortunately...
 
Not sure but I think they had a lifetime warranty.
I ended up taking them back, was told they either work or they don't. So I cleaned the old ones up greased them and wired them with relays and they work pretty good now.
