for as good as that gimp is, it doesn't do circular text.. so I nutted up and paid $9 for a month of a logo program...


here's kinda how I'm working it for now... still working out different fonts, etc... no diamond background or duck... but it's kinda how I see it heading... i'll keep playing with color combo's, etc.....

obviously I want him exactly like my hood one in coloring details.... Ryoken red for the bill color, lit cigar with smoke coming up..... white, bloodshot eyes, probably the mohawk depending on if I like that when I put it on.. (thanks for the fur lead! :waytogo:)

at this point I'm also thinking that I just want it to be a headshot... but I'll see what someone wants to draw up... the wings/stance do give it a defiant kinda feel...
 
is it odd, that I derive some weird satisfaction in pausing and letting the water cascade on the mallard when washing Mutt? :whistle: :doah: :screwy: :woot:




oh, and just for the record, I'm not drunk yet... :haha:

it is true... I felt weird admitting it... but I'll be rinsing the truck down (damn pollen season seems to have finally ended).. and I find myself doing that... :screwy: ya know the "water off a ducks back" thang... :o :dunno: :haha:



Mutt's performing admirably and turning heads daily...... chomping at the bit for the next phases.. coming soon...
 
don't know if this helps for a printable baseline. but heres a boredom n beer induced sketch (cough: tracing :cough):rolleyes: I came up with tonight:haha: haven't attempted to try coloring it in yet. I was going to do an outline only version for cartoon style coloring instead of the shading. need more beer for that:D

when saved n printed it should be the size of normal paper. 8X11 stuff

ordering my spare tomorrow.. hopefully i'll have it mounted/installed next weekend... next week I'll order the spool gun and get going on the sides...
 
oldschool.. everything new is clear when not lit... I want amber when parked..

that's EXACTLY the look I'm looking for.. no clear lens stuff at all... gonna be an amber tow rig, BE a damn amber towrig!!!!!! :woot:
