I think the originals are Cadmium plated...but not sure.
can you get the fender emblems on with speed nuts without taking the fender off?

Dont know if the 73-80 is the same as a 90, but i remember Colbystevens had to all but remove his to replace his emblems.

Looking kinda tough.
I don't think I am willing to remove the fenders again and deal with alignment issues...I may go with barrel nuts and tape on those if that is the case

I went to the paint shop today at lunch to see if I could see anything...it was in the paint booth being cleared when was there...I was standing on the other side of the door and could hear the spray gun going but I could not see it...
I did get a look at the hood which has not been sanded yet...I will post those photos after I pull them off the phone.

Hood looks nice!
it has two dents, a ding on the rear corner and two places on the outer pinch welds that have tiny cracks that he is going to weld shut.
Overall it is almost perfect and we believe it is the original paint.

I just noticed that it had a bug deflector on it...or those holes on the front rim are for something...don't know if they are factory or not.
