Ryoken's Guide to Rust Treatment and Bodywork 101

Had the exhaust replaced finally. I went with the original factory configuration single pipe but not the oem 2" pipe. It's either 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 ...I'll have to measure. It sounds stock now. Much quieter than it was before. While it was on the rack I got a good look at all the stuff I need to clean up and places the paint shop got overspray on. Wish I had a rack so I could get to all that without breaking my back or spraying paint right in my face.

Hard to believe it has been nearly 6 years since I started this Blazer project. I need to get the top completed this year...I don't get to drive it near enough because of the weather and not having a top ready for it. I started this when I was 46, I'm 52...it hurts to get under that thing. Way I see it, I got a few years to enjoy it before it becomes too much for an old man to deal with.

I resemble this remark... maybe even a bit worse. :haha:

You can't argue with the end result, despite the long journey. Looks amazing!

By the way...it does have a little sag on the driver's side rear...I've GOT to get those leaf springs replaced

I think it is accessible to more people being in the Garage. That's where it started, my vote would be to keep it there, but that's up to CK5. I keep tacking updates onto it, but it hasn't been padded...and honestly, there's not that much build left. Am I correct that even non paying members can see the Garage?

I'm not sure on who can see what.

I understand there isn't much build left, but there is a lot of good information in it, and if it was turned into an actual build (using the new format) I think it would be more searchable, plus it would occasionally show up in the builds scroll at the top of the page which would alert more people to it's existence.

Just a thought.

The Garage and Build sections have the same access, if your a Premium member you get a few more build tools giving it more exposure.

I've started uploading the photos in this thread that went away when photobucket did their thing. I will do a few pages a night until they are all replaced

i'm afraid to check my threads.. i hope i can still get my PB stuff saved... if not, some are gone forever...
