Hehehehe I have to laugh, cause I think I've been drugged! I have had an S-10 with a 2.8, a K-5, and a 4dr S-15 with a vortec v-6 that would have beat the pants off any stock k-5, however I think they both have their positive points. For instance, here is my recipe: you will need one banged up mangled k-5, and one slighlty beaten s-10. Gently rip out the usless 2.8 with one or more rods protruding from block, also discard tranny and xfer case. Take one 6.2 diesel and 700R4 and 208, stuff gently under hood of S-10. Throw out the 10 bolt rear and independent front, add one full floating 14 bolt and a dana 60 hanging from leaf springs for the front, sprinkle with 4.56 gears and detroit locker up front, bake the rear til both axles are joined. Fold in 38.5 x 14.5 Swamper SX"S. Chop rear top off and add 6 pt roll cage. Sprinkle with new bumpers and add new accesories for taste! Serves four! Throw usless, mangled, memory filled K-5 body out!
