well if you dont consider the cost of my 10blt that im trading for it, i got the 60 for about 100 bucks worth of gas :wink1:

Hey man, you and grandpa need to figure out when we can all meet up in shreveport or where ever. Im about to be inbetween jobs so soon might be a good time...

got a tiny bit done today, but was halted by the lack of a correctly sized socket for the pinion nut... other than that all i have to say is, setup bearings/races are splendiferous (sp?)

5.13 pinion head along side the 3.73 pinion head

How much air pressure do you run in your Boggers, when in the mud?

Thanks,
Mike

haha ya king pins are fun, on my friends we put a pipe on the allen key then used a come-along that was hooked to the opposite end of the axle and the pipe then cranked it til we both **** our pants from the pop of it loosening:rolleyes:

are those xml's? do you drive on them on the road? if so how do they ride?

holy crap its been way too long since ive updated this thread!

better late than never i suppose but to answer your question they are a $hitty tire that i wouldnt recommend to anyone honestly

for your viewing pleasure hear is what little ive done over the last year...

looky at all the pretty parts... hopefully in less than a week they will be all on the seal. only things left to acquire are a few various hoses that i cant measure for until i have the system mocked up

in pics: Crowley fab KRC power steering pump/ A/C bracket to fit vortec 350, tapped 97 k1500 steering box, KRC power steering pump with 3.17 GPM valve, appleton reservoir/filter/cooler, 15" finned aluminum cooler, 1.75"/.75"/8" PSC ram, 6' PSC hose kit, DIY4X flatback d60 cover with ram tabs and a 1.5" MAD4WD tierod clamp

thanks much kyle for taking essentially all the fabbing and thinking out of this one :rockit:

today started out slow but picked up pleasantly just at the end... a missing male/male fitting on the steering box and some closed mindedness on where to mount the ressy drug spirits down. but once marcus came up with good idea to make a bracket to mount it to the engine hoist bracket things picked up and we got all but one hose made and it shouldnt take more than 10 mins to do once I get the adapter in the steering box
