Oh man don't tempt me, I would love to have a 14-liter in this truck , I wish I had the time to do the swap, lots of dinking around with wiring. but that would be my dream engine for this truck.......well it has my dream engine now but I can't afford the fuel !!!

If you really want a K-model I might be able to score a free one from work. we have 50-60 of them and were slowly phaseing them out. I actually no joke just hauled a complete 350KW genset do the dump about a 2 weeks ago in one of my other villages, it ran perfect and had less then 10,000 on it since its last overhaul.

But since fuel economy is the name of the game it got replaced with a 350kw S-60 powered gen unit that use 1/2 the fuel

Yes. Yes. Yes sir.

My buddy is a trainer at waterous now. Hes got the factory level software for DDEC III/IV V. That means we can kill egr parameters within software. Change fuel maps, you know real 007 ****. Actually I've got a 575horse onroad program for a DDEC IV in my garage. I've got DDEC 3/4 and 5 wiring schematics in my garage for sensor harness and vehicle interface harness. They're pretty simple wiring.

Went and played with the big green trucks again, what a blast. Can't wait to get my 818 and the wife's 810 up and running and back in Indy.

Look closely and you will see a couple m1009 (blazers).

Awesome love the trucks! Could I drop a pic request, If next time you're out could you grab some close up pics of combat rims on a 5 ton? Front and rears. I want to see the track width difference too.

I heard there was some sort of issue with running then as singles. Thanks dude.
