saved from the scrap yard (my wifes not laughing)

Yep you bet. 912 is typo. M911 is what the data plate says.

I would love to find an m747 trailer for it. With the quad axles and pulley supports for the winch cables. It really is the ultimate recovery machine. More likey though is yank the 5th wheel and put a cargo box on it, but leave the winches. And mod the box to pull the cables straight through to pull junk up the ramps.

So you saved it from the scrapyard right? How much did the scrapyard hurt your wallet to take this thing away?? Very nice truck though!

i bought it before the guy took it to the scrap yard, but $3600 for truck and tires, still need to buy rims which is anther $800, and buy $200 worth of new batterys, then finish painting and drive it home. so for $7000 i saved a piece of history and and is off road ready with no rust (i have looked every where too). also found out from crawling all around it that it had a brand new trans and clutch put in it in 2006 witch was when its last major serves was. and its got two new seats in it as well. its really in great shape.

i have more then $12000 in my 1979 k20 and its not even offroad ready yet but soon.

just in case u didn't catch what size tires im putting on it, they are 53" tall 16.00-20 Michelin XZLs, and look like these and the truck will look like this when its all done. with HEMMT rigs not combat rims and O.D. green.
