SBD's 69K5 "The Anti Prius" Everybody loves Pictures & Video-(My not a build thread)

RAD!!!

I love the early morning light at the start of the video and the big beaming smile.....

Then the time lapse of diagnostic work as the light fades, and what looks like night time before the engine actually fires!! :D

That's more like reality than the way they show it on TV.... I like the honesty of that video.

:waytogo:

EDIT: I watched it again, and it looks like the whole video was shot at night with big halogen worklights shining on you guys... but the video is still awesome!

...gonna need to know the name of that song in the background too.

Yep, that looks almost exactly like when I do it. Honesty in video!
I love the sound of a new engine, especially a built one!

Is that Henry Rollins band, maybe Glen Danzig?

Dude that is awesome!! :eek1: Watching the other video of you tearing up the sand in your Burb...classic! That was better than an old school Chevy commercial. Wonderfully produced and totally made my day sitting here at work. More cool vids like that please.

Thanks guys felt great just knowing it actually fired. I got tons of videos just not all truck related. The time lapse was actual about 2.5 hrs. The band is called Gravevard, just an obscure bunch of guys from Sweden I think.

Got some new shoes (BFG all terrains) and put some fresh batteries in the wheels. Florescent green on the outside and my old standby black hammered finish on the inside. Also got a new master cylinder

OK Chris, so I have to ask....

You successfully fired the motor about 2 months ago, and things are lookin' good every time you post up. What's left to do before you're actually driving it? :dunno:

Greg I just got linkages for the tc from ord last week, trans shifter still needs to be connected, brakes checked and bled, and the 2 biggie things are the cage and finish the wiring.

Its the long laundry list of little **** that kill you in the end :)

I love the door-closing regiment. Sounds familiar. :D Also, I bet you've got some serious gear reduction with those wheels! :haha:
