it should be ok once replaced... battery may be a bit hurt tho, may need a jump, or new bat if it nuked a cell... but replace the cable and try it..

um. Does that wire hook together were the 2 red circles are?? if so it should start now. and if that burnt up your Bigger ground wire may not have a good connection anymore for some reason

oops forgot the pic

I vote for replace the wire and try it. It will either work or it wont.

I used think a bungee strap was enough to hold my battery. On the way to work one day it fell off the tray and into the flex fan with no shroud:doah: The fan sawed the battery almost completely in half and chewed up all the wires. I put what was left of the battery on the tray and connected the wires with my jumper cables. Started and drove it the rest of the way to work:D

By the way, I always properly secure batteries now:waytogo:

Fail. No pic. Anyway. I guess I should be thankful. Let me tell you... The ONLY person to stop and ask if I needed help was some yuppie in a bmw, who helped me push it. I was in a dress.

So my parents come and give me a ride to parts store and I'm fixed in an hour.

Way to go ck5!!

Think my mom took pics of me in the engine... If she sends them, I'll post em. I made my dad feel useful by having him hold the tool tray so it didn't fall :haha:

Don't ask where the boyfriend was...

No no!!! I had my mom bring me some pants!!! That mf is too hot to be bare a$$in it in!!!!

:haha:

either way, good job.. :waytogo:

didn't know your parents are local, that's great... I'm guessing they relocated from the northeast and that's part of the reason you ended up there?

They retired to Dallas about 2 years ago bc of cost of living and to be near me. I've lived here almost 7 years... Ex husband brought me here then left :haha: jokes on him...

his loss... ;) awesome you've got some family near by now.. :D

oh, and...

boy, I love that line... :haha:

It was with a bungee cord, which was (obviously) missing when I opened the hood.

Yes, I know I can do better

Daddy holding my tools :D

Fyi.... He could not have fixed this. But he can afford to tow it :p
