Not sure yet, need a good shop that rebuilds them. Yes I was quoting with a core charge since I don't want to be down for weeks. Although I just picked up a CUCV core from Hillbilly Wizard for $125. I need to find a good IP rebuild shop now.Who are you looking at for an injection pump? I'm assuming the $800 is including the core charge and the reason you need a core is just to not have to remove yours and send in for a core. I'm sure glad my '83 doesn't run that screwy filter setup. I've got a plain old spin on water separator on the firewall and another spin on in the back of the valley similar to a 6.5L I think. Someday I would like to redo it with just an FS1000 water separator under the truck or the better Cat 1R0749 and an electric lift pump to help get it to the engine mounted pump.

The FM100 offers heater and water sensor with filter for $80 so not too bad.
Sucks you’re having to think about rebuilding the pump. I always go back Stanadyne factory, which is to say 831-4911 all the way.@AgDieseler i remember him having a source for the pump rebuilds.
I did see on the massive list of 6.2/6.5 pumps Industrial Injection has on their website that they did offer a high altitude pump.I definitely recommend getting one set for where you live. Back when I worked on equipment, we had to get the pumps and timing set for this elevation occasionally. There was a difference in performance and temps.
