So isn't the machine shop liable here? Just because it took a year to surface doesn't mean they should be free and clear. If they did all the work to include honing, they should have done it for the type of rings you are running.

Am I missing something here as to why they aren't doing the re-work for you??

I can understand it *maybe* if you supplied the parts, but they are still the machine shop, and should know what kind of hone the cylinders need for those rings.

Sounds like crap to me.

I'd go with the Child & Alberts ZGS rings this time. I really like the ZGS.

I am having a 396 done up here in the not to distant future and he said he would do the block work for free so Yeah they are liable and hopefully going to come through in the end . Still alot of B.S. I dont need to be dealing with ....sometimes it just happens this way ...... Oh well . /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
