I would say if you've got a good running 6.5, use the IP. With my SM465 in, there's a hill on the hwy by my place I would hit the bottom at 100km and by the top I'd be down to 70-80 just dragging right down. Swapped in the IP from the 6.5 and same hill I'm now accelerating up it. Granted that could just be that my IP was super worn out, but worth it if you've got the front all pulled apart already.
One question... I've got the PSC hydro assist, any idea if the high flow pump will be able to move over to the serp setup? The PS pump on the 6.5 has a bit different mounting, not sure if it'll be compatible or not.
