Shop build. HEAT!

Put the walk plank all the way on top so you can just lay down and do it like Michaelangelo did the Sistine chapel :D

Just don't fall asleep and roll off :eek1:

BRILLIANT!

It is about the right height lol

be careful up there, we don't need you pulling a Greg and taking a header off that damn thing.

I'm pretty dang careful. And I have 3 boards down where I am walking so it's a solid platform all the way across

Put a plank on the top to act as a shelf so you can put stuff on it and not have to bend down to get more stuff, aka mud.

Yep planning on it

Check your area... Around here guys will mud and tape for $10 a sheet. Wouldn't be real expensive for just your ceiling at that rate.

Man Brother, I sure wish you were closer. I just mucked out my job site and loaded up all of my drywall tools back in the trailer today. Love to give ya a hand if you weren’t so far away.

Be careful. I have proved that men of our stature, don’t bounce from high falls, as so many would think. Its more like a splaaatttt. :tongue1:

Yah I'm not a bumble, I don't bounce lol.

I'll get the other gap patched up and call it good and worry about it at a later date.

Of course a question. I probably can't mud over a painted wall. Half the reason for taping and mudding was so I could paint the ceiling

My taper told my wife to use scrap drywall to put paint samples on or she would be missing her samples.

So my cousin came over. Started taping the ceiling.

I spent most of the day using plastic staples to hold wire in place. I used way too many but today was not the greatest day for me.

So on Monday I'm gonna start on insulating the bottom 8 ft and getting all the OSB on said 8 ft section.

I'll start getting all the outlets wired and hopefully get a couple lights up.

So great progress today!

Hindsight 20/20 I would have run my wires a bit different and been more careful but overall no professional but just fine

Also it blows my mind how many almosts and doing this soons that didn't happen for 2 years. I'm really striving to have a working functional shop ( albeit not done) in one week. From today. That's Saturday May 26. Deadline is June 2nd.
