I'm pretty sure I'll have to mess with it a bit to get it where I want initially I'm gonna leave it the same temp and see what that does.
 
Eric, that heater is going to be plenty big with all the insulating you did. Are you blowing in cellulose fiber in the ceiling?

Stoked for you this winter. That shop, even unheated, is going to be life changing.

Yah Lane when I figured it up it said I need something like 65000 BTUs.

And yes cellulose in the ceiling
 
Are you going to paint the osb and the drywall all white? I can't remember but is there drywall behind your osb or just starting out above it?

Yep all in white. There is no drywall behind the OSB. Gonna use a 1x4 or something similar to cover the transition line. Then paint it some cool accent color to be determined. Cause I'm not that cool.
 
Just some professional advice, you might want to think about adding another panel to that overhead door. That's kind of a big air leak and you will not get nearly the performance out of your heater and insulation package that your thinking with that big of a gap at the top of the door.

And for the record I'm a bit jealous
 
I really like the way that turned out. I may end up copying you after all.

It does let more light in though. Cheaper than buying a door with windows in it.

Looks awesome Eric, you had a big year in there, and got a lot done. I’m really excited for you, the paint will make such a big difference. Getting better with every little bit you put into it. Fun to see you wrap it up.

I'm pretty dang excited! Should be able to actually start doing real work in there by November. I'm sure I'll reorganize a couple times but I'm so excited to get back to what I was doing a couple years before we moved. Been a while since I could just go out to the shop to work.
 
You have to keep it clean, or I will have to beat you...........

I have sweat equity in it so I do have a say...... just saying

I’m really excited for you. There’s nothing quite like building a new space and making it your own. Organize, reorganize, stare at it, reorganize again, and put it all to work. That’s a good day.

Fine Dad!

I plan on it. Have already started changing some of my habits.

Plus the fact that nearly everything I'm doing is to prevent me from having to bend down should help too

Not sure what you're worried about, his work space in the front garage is super clean...
