That blue crewcab hiding in the middle of all the squares he posted a pic of the other day needs to come home :D.

Makes more room for his other projects lol

It's even prepaid lol.

Btw got a little more done and this is a milestone for me, I can no longer easily change my mind on wiring.

Nice, Wow you are close.

Yah got all the rest of the insulation up. Just gotta put the top row of sheetrock on the front wall. Over the garage doors and finish the second garage door.

We will be leaving on Wednesday till Saturday evening. I'll have a bit of time to work on it on Monday and Tuesday but probably only a couple hours each day.

When I get back I'll have work to do in the shop. So next Monday I will be putting stuff in the shop I need to build stuff.

But not in it's permanent place. Still gotta get painted and see if I can build my compressor/ oil tank enclosure before winter

Electric company dropped off a truck this morning. I'm still in construction mode. I got stuff cleaned a bit to get the truck in and built a bench.

Started with this freebie

Yes that's a 2x4 every 6 inches. I'm not kind to my bench and right now my top is OSB.

All topped off 2 layers of OSB. 2x4s top and bottom sandwiching the bench. Legs are 3 2x4s on one side 2 2x4s and a 2x6 on the other. Should be a decent bench till I figure out a different way or just keep it and use a better top piece. IMG_20180618_180258544.jpg

This started as kind of a throw together that turned out a bit better.

So the 16 gauge top will likely happen.

I had totally spaced that I was gonna do that anyway lol

These global industrial butcher block tops are what we use for our mechanics at work
https://www.globalindustrial.com/g/.../butcher-block-work-bench-tops?trackType=null

They hold up to a hell of a beating and most are still being used that are 10 yrs old or more. Not bad priced either.
I personally don't like metal tops for tearing into things because stuff slips off, Mars your surfaces, and it's noisey unless it's 1/4 or thicker.
