my paint bay took me half a day to clean out this summer for a friend to use to prime his car . then i only put stuff back in on wheels and or big items like radiators i dont need trashed on accident . when he come back to paint the car it took us 10 min to clean out the bay .
Where do you recommend getting caster/wheels from?
Sure be a lot easier to work if could move stuff around like work bench etc.
Guilty as hell to putting stuff on floor. Jessie has seen my garage. It's cluster.
Also could use new casters for harbor freight welding cart with multiple drawers. Great cart but casters suck out of the box.

We have a supply house that I can walk into and buy caster. High quality stuff. USA made. HF are not the greatest.
What lights are you using Eric?
HF sucks for casters saying it litely
I have some 8" HF on a 300 pound bench that I got free. Have held up. But if it sits to long, they flat spot.

They were free. And I move that bench almost daily.
Works fine for you but my projects sit for a while and would rather spend $ on something worth a damn then to deal with crappy casters anymore.
I still haven't found a really good source for casters I like.
Most of the stuff isn't too heavy and I like to be able to roll over stuff so I tend to use pneumatic casters.

But that wasn't probably the best way to go.
They look really nice and aren't a bad way to go for sure, but doing it all again and for the rest of my lights I'm using 2 bulb fixtures that will use 4 ft led tubes.
More lumens per dollar that way.
The lights currently in there are 2300 lumen 4k color with a CRI of 80.
The bulbs I'll be getting in the future for the other fixtures will be 5k in color with a CRI of 85

Tractor Supply here has lots of choices for casters,including steel wheeled ones..their prices are higher than other places though--but its worth paying more if they are better quality..
BIG metal casters are best for things like engine cranes ,they wont get hung up on every little pebble like smaller casters..or flat spot..
Me,I have used semi-pneumatic tires off things like hand trucks,riding mowers and push mowers for wheels,on heavier carts I use to haul firewood I used the rear frame section, axle and tires & rims off an old rear engine riding mower..its hauled a cord or more with no issues..
The "solid" rubber tires seem to be best inside a shop--seems like every pneumatic tire I put on anything is FLAT the next time I go to move the item..those $3.99 Harbor Freight tires & rims suck,they have no rim bead,and unless you tube them right away,they wont hold air for more than a week if your lucky--the rubber cracks and leaks fast too..

Would have been cool too make em a bit smoother, but they are every bit of 60 yrs old. Had been painted at least twice. Had 4 layers of contact paper on the shelves.
Cleaned em up gotta get more paint. More gray, than tape it off and paint the insides bright white.
Oh the cool label on em.
But I got my nice new controller.

I can tell you one thing some sort of sir sir filtration is gonna happen in my shop. I figured it was sealed up pretty good but it's crazy.
I'm happy to buy some sort of filter at some point, but that's gonna require some research it seems like they are either under 150 ish or over 400

It was the already dry side. Let them dry for 24 hours inside the house plus another day in the shop. It was poor prep on my part
The worst of it. But I can sand these a touch and then touch them up after I get em up.
