Right now I have 3" springs up front but I think they are sagged pretty good. I am also running 37" tires. My plan is to put 52" springs up front and go to 42" MT/R's. I want to keep the rig low and stable. Anybody running something similar to what I am planning? I want to know if you are clearing the steering box in the stock location.

Here are a few pics from last weekend.

I'm running 52's up front, very low ride height (stock height or a tiny bit above) with 42's I've never rubbed the steering box.

Backspacing obviously matters though too, mine are on 15x10's w/3.5" backspacing.

A buddy is running 52s with 42" Iroks with 4" of backspacing (I believe) and doesn't get into his box...

I have a slight rub when steering fully to the right when the suspension is fully compressed on the driver side.
Not as much so it matters though, just don't tap the box on the side for hydro-assist.
Tap the caps instead.

56" springs, 42" tires, 16x10 wheels with 4.125" BS (-34mm ET)

My box it already tapped. Been running hydro assist for several years. It is tapped on the side but I don't think it will be a issue there.

Mine's tapped on the side too, well, more like at an angle up/down say 60 deg on that side.

Regardless, what's the worst case, you have to move the steering stop out a little?

I am running 56" front springs. DRW width D60 moved 3" forward. Stock H-1's with 42" TSL's. (aprox same width as a srw D60 with 10" rims on 4.75 backspacing) At full compression & the wheel cut hard left, the tires will scrub the steering box. There is nothing there for it to hurt, and it is not rubbing it hard, so I have not worried about it.

I am 56s up front my steering box is tapped on the side too. No problems been like that for about 3 yrs now. Running 42s with recentered H1s about 3 5/8 backspacing. I do scrub the front of the box when I am turned hard passenger with the driver tire stuffed, but not bad at all

yeah, same question here. i noticed you put the james duff springs which i am also planning to do but am wondering how you like em'.

No, they work well except they are not long enough. I am going to go to either air shocks or ORI struts in the rear. Being captured at both ends doesn't help either.

My truck seems to pull them down pretty decent, I wonder if it's from the heavier tire?

Not sure, you have a couple pounds on my rig. I did do some speed runs over the weekend and they worked good. Overall I am happy with the springs except I need more travel.
