I'm trying to decide if I should move the hanger back to get the shackle more verticle. The shackle is 8.25"s long also. Im definetly going to cross tie the shackles. Its just goin to be a pain to move the hanger since i boxed the frame in up to the hanger. What u guys think? I'm so close to haveing it driving. Already got the motor fired up and just needs a driveshaft and few things buttoned up to drive it.

What about moving the front hanger forward? What springs are you running?

Custom 8" springs, measure 50" with no weight. if I move it fwd it looks like it will hit the pit man arm

What about shorter shackles? That will bring it more vertical. You definitely have more shackle angle than ideal.

Shorter shackles make it more of a angle. I had 7.25" shackles and I whipped up the 8.25 to get this. Im thinking I'm going to try to move the hanger back about 1.5" if I moved spring fwd I liked the angle but pitman arm looked like it was going to hit the ubolts and drag link wasn't straight.

Every time I'm about to grab shit together to get ready cut grind and drill, I take a 2nd look and say "well its not that bad":what: maybe I'll just cross tie them in a couple spots and see how it works too

What are the measurements of the springs, eye to eye along the spring? Center pin measurement from the front eye? Those look like they are close to the custom ones I'm running. Maybe my clearances would help you.

Roughly 55" overall, 24" front to center, 31" center to rear. But this is a very rough est. But I'd be more then happy to hear what u got and how it handles on the street.

Sorry for the crappy pics, Just ran out to take them.

The drag link did hit before I installed the bumpstops. Took out the zerk, but only would touch when fully stuffed with nthe wheels dead straight.

Sweet! Thx! Pics are perfect! What kind of bumps you running? Did you have to make brackets or use stock ones?

Bumps are just the 4.5" pro bump with a 3" square tube spacer

What about your steering? How's the draglink line up?

ORD crossover for the Dana 60. has the 3" block under the passenger arm. The top pic above shows the angle its at. If you want any specific pics let me know.

Are you running ORD springs?

Yep, just 8" lift instead. With the Ord crossovver too. I was thinking of useing the other hole for the crossover tho to help line it up

Nope, not a good idea. If you do that the knuckles will hit the stops before the steering box runs out of travel. You run the real possibility of breaking the knuckles.

Don't worry about the slight front to back angle the draglink will be at. It's long enough that it wont effect anything.

So you got 9" lift total? and you still had to cut alot to fit the 44s? Holy moly. I like your truck stance alot
