They did some work on that top with some heavey steel to strengthen things as well. Here's a picture of what we found when we cut it apart.
you're sure better off with the soft top set you've got now.

I have radio antennas on mounts behind both doors. I usually have have my roof rack with light bar and other antennas mounted. I took it off to get it powder coated and to repaint the truck.Whats that behind your driver door jlr113?
I think your fine, Fire-Sticks are a good CB antenna. The problem I have is having my antennas hitting things, the longest is the HF antenna that tops at 14Ft 3in.My Firestick is mounted on my rear bumper. I use the ss spring mount.
Do you think it is too short or too low?
