Dang. That's clean. A resto or just a nice, solid survivor?

K5 is a K5 is a K5.

Its just a nice solid survivor... It has had a mediocre paint job done sometime in the last 10 years or so which is fading on the roof and hood pretty badly but its overall in good shape... Has a few tiny dings, scratches etc you would expect from a 30 year old daily driver... But overall, this thing is in fantastic untouched condition... Just what I've been looking for...

Nice. How many miles?

Mine's in fairly good shape but the crappy late 80's paint job was repainted early on with something about as crappy and that's coming off or just gone all over the truck. Needs a repaint bad but hoping to cure that this spring.
At 202,000 miles it has plenty of leaks, creaks, and rattles. Starts every time though.

As far as mileage... Here is the story from the previous owner which I believe, as the receipts and carfax history confirm it... When the blazer had 130,xxx miles in 2002, they took the blazer into a local stealership and had a new Mr Goodwrench 350 engine and turbo 350 trans installed... At the time of installation the dealer zeroed out the odometer which is now showing 99,423... Previous owners have kept it very well maintained mechanically and aesthetically... They used 5w30 motor oil and it hold 40psi oil pressure at idle... It drives real good, its a little loose in the steering which is prob/hopefully the rag joint... Im having an alignment done today when the new tires get installed... The factory clock even works... :waytogo:

Yeah, that thing is freakin sweet. Kinda dig the matching blue on blue interior exterior.

Hopefully your keeping it that way?? That looks great

Thanks guys, the blue on blue is growing on me... Its not my favorite of the color combinations but it growing on me... I had an 86 Silverado way back in the day that was light blue metallic and charcoal outside with the same all blue interior... And yes, its staying this way....
