I need to replace the seats (it's all torn up) in my new-to-me tow rig (M1008) and I'm looking for options.
Bench, buckets, what have you guys liked?

2000 chevy 1500 seats, I built mounts for them, they have the seatbelts mounted in the seats already, but some guys mount them straight to the floor.
I put grand cherokee seats in Horton (which is a pickup) and they are way comfy. I may eventually put them in my dually too.
It did take some fab but that's not a problem for you

Yep. I like a nice bench in a single cab. Although I liked the fancy split bench in my '99 Ram 1500 and am liking the idea of swapping in some sort of newer GM split bench seats or something.Hard to beat a nice cloth bench.
The one in mine is like sitting on the sofa at home. In a pinch you can lay on it to sleep. It will seat 3 if need be. I have a plastic cup holder thing in the center of mine to hold drinks.
In a truck I prefer a bench. Especially a single cab.
Yea I would love to see pics as well. I want to put in a 40/20/40 in the front. Anybody use anything newer than newer than 2000 that the_mule used that would work in a K5? Sorry to highjack.

You can usually mod the seat to make it work, most likely why Chris asked. See what others had done to get a good idea of what seats you can use. My seats I cut all the mounting tabs off and made my own did not need to level the floor like the above pic
