Skyjacker got me! Their quad shocks don't fit!

So first they tell me that H7051 and H7058 will give me a great ride with 3-4" of lift.....

Now they tell me that only the monotube shocks will fit and that the twin tube shocks are too fat.... After I discover that they hit one another at the bottom.
 
There is a reason people abandoned these setups and went with a single Bilstein
Yeah I believe that gm added one as a bandaid.
A better valved single is better.
The only time multiple are good is for off road racing where more oil capacity helps cooling and prevent fading.
 
Any ideas on why these won't actually fit?

If they were 2" diameter like the factory shocks instead of 2.37" or whatever they are they would slide right in

Are they in the correct order on the lower mount? I'm trying to remember, but it's been like 12 years since I've seen the dual mounting situation.
 
•IF• they are non directional you might see if they’ll fit with the rod end down. Some shocks can’t mount either end up but some will not, need to be sure before you do it.
 
Post up a pic of the lower shocks mounted. Just curious how yours is.
