Oh I agree that's a cheap part to replace but if I'm going to beat on it, I'd rather not replace one every month. Same with the u joints and why I want to go ahead and use a 205 with the 1410 yokes. That coupler would be the weak point after that and getting it off the trail would be a pain in the ass.
And if it has a np208 behind it I could run that, I need to get back out there and check it. Finding a driveshaft for it wouldn't be to terribly bad. It was dark the night I looked at it and it was a '85 k10 that someone had swapped a 454 in. So I'm not even sure it was a round pattern one. Just trying to figure out my options.
