So we did a quick run on of our easier trails Saturday , had a good group mostly GMs but we had two very well built toyotas and a JK on new 1-ton Dana crate axles and My buddy Daniels Superduty and my Buddy gregs 94 Cummins .

It was uneventful until we hit the river ,

the orange crew cab broke through and completely removed the 47" LTB from the wheel we got it drug out and the undamged tire back on the wheel after building a fire to warm the tire .

While this was happening one off the toys got bored and decided to cross further up , well he broke through even worse and got stuck under and ice ledge which required some very fancy rigging to get him pulled across to the other side, he ended up blowing up both his longfields in the front end and seriously damaging his steering when he tried to get back across .

Greg and I decided to try and get across at a very shallow spot with the Cummins buggy and where doing great until the rear yoke on the sterling literally broke in half and left is with front wheel only , we winched up on the opposite bank and got the truck turned around and made it back across , but needed to winch up the bank to get free in the process he fried his new harbor freight winch on its second ever pull......... the wireless remote is pretty cool though gotta admit.

So with everyone recovered and back on the correct side we decided to just do lunch there rather then try to fight on with two broke rigs . We had a nice fire with Jalepeno cheddar moose brats , cheddar peppers , and home made cinnamon rolls washed down with Rainer Beer The kids had a good time playing until hey got cold so we piled them in Daniels superduty and they watched movies on the DVD player .

We started heading to the towrigs after that and made good progress until we hit the last swamp going out , Clint broke a tierod end on the white crew cab 84 , ( cool truck , 6.0 th400/241/205) but Lee had a spare so that was fairly easy fix . Then a little while later Adam had a flat on the burb @plyr2k he got that fixed we all made it to the trucks and loaded up and went home.

Oh and then I backed over the pizza guys rig with my dodge ........

Just for reference the Toyotas were both on 40"LTBs , the JK is on 40" pro comps

Not this time, I was gonna take Smokey but my trailer is out of service with a bad axle end . And I still have not got the bed swapped on yet . So I hauled my buddy gregs Cummins buggy up there on a borrowed trailer behind the white dodge . And James and I went as passengers

Smokey made it in the garage last night for a few hours (first time in a year or more) started prepping the frame for bed swap finally .

I think this truck is gonna get the utility bed and 37" rubber And possibly my plow . I would like to drive it more .

Side note, I have almost all the parts gathered up for the brown and tan burb to link the front . Just need to get a couple sticks of DOM and get my full hydro worked out

So Smokey is headed to my buddy's place to be a firewood and plowtruck ,

I also picked up this , 91 1/2 ton 6.2/700r4/241 with 83,000 miles Silverado and a 7-6" Western pro-plow

Noice burb!

Though I'd be slightly hesitant to plow with ten bolts and a 700R4.
