Sneak peak

Actually this is the introweb, so he'll have to kill everybody that has, or will ever get web access.

That sounds busy.

Actually I learned my lesson about letting the cat out of the bag early on a few products. The crossmember itself is early but its damn close.

Panhard is a ways off yet.

The big blocks also tend to have clearance issues when running a higher capacity oil pan.

And they may still have some clearance issues with this crossmember. All depends on the shape of the pan. If the addition to capacity is in the sump area, shouldn't matter. We have kept 1/2" of clearance from the factory pan to the cross itself.

Biggest issue with the aftermarket pans for us is being able to try them all.

You have my seriously divided attention

Not sure exacty what order were doing these in and don't want to talk about too many just yet but I believe, the SBC is next and then probably the LS stuff. Gona be designed around the truck motor oil pan.

Just what i was going to buy (either a 5.3 or 6.0 4l60e combo)

Just keep us posted, still have some other irons in the fire right now, swapping drivetrain on my 80 camaro with help from pops, so if the k5 gets attention it will be spring when goldy is on the road.

Ok, i can see your points. I didn't even think about the crossover deal as i have it and don't have any issues with it hitting BUT for someone who runs reverse highsteer i could definately see some issues there.

I run a 454 with regular highsteer (not reverse) with hydro assist, and I need all the clearance I can get.

Kert didn't have this available, so I went with ORD's crossmember kit, but Kert made me Big Block motor mounts for the 1 ton frame. Turns out that all mounts are the same except the trucks with are factory 454 in a factory 1 ton truck.

Out of curiosity, will this kit fit those?

Yep, sure will. This kit takes it all the way back to the frame. Everything related to the engine crossmember is pitched.
