here is it without bolting it up.Its going to be a pain to get the back two studs bolted up,thinking about cutting an access hole maybe 1 1/2" wide, just before the hood hinge.so i can get a wobbly socket in there.

got pretty close have to make the bracket and then take it off and dump the sand out. i strapped it to the street light out front to pull it the way i wanted.

finally finished with install now ,believe it or not it changed the timing and I had to re-tune the carb it was way to fat.ran great when i drove down to the hardware store to get some self tapping screws for the top piece.

a tip the last pic is how i got all the nuts on the back two with a ratcheting wrench and some blue tape. its not easy but its on.

The next step is relocating the over flow tank? I am using a 1985 tank it mounts to the core support. If I ever get it done. Looks good is it an illusion or is yours sitting lower at the rear of snorkel? I tried to hold mine to the curve top edge of fender.

Mine sits below the battery box, must be illusion.
How is yours in the rain?any isue's yet?

My top part is a little different angle but no problems yet! I still need to hook it all up. I am using the cold air box off a 94 suburban to go between the snorkel outlet and air cleaner. My goal is to use it as a ram air.

Been sick the last few days. Did you figure the a pillar bracket out> We had to grind a little off the pillar side end to get good seating.
