mine i didnt hook the bracket up before taking of the strap and it rebounded out when cooled

Little late to the party since mine is going to be used as a ram air I just got the Spectre connector and flex hose then hook to the stock air cleaner. The picture here with it connected is where I got the thought to do it. He went more forward than I did but his was the old version snorkel.

That is another way to do it, but i didnt have a stock air cleaner.

And it also depends on if your going to be fording water or not too. Many folks forget to get their breathers up higher and suck water in them. But we all have our own tweaks and that is what make this place so freaking GREAT!

thats one thing i want to change is how high i have my breathers. going to research how to get them up.

Most replace the insert for the breather and then run lines up on the fire wall or body and put it at the height they want.
Tranny, transfer case, axles and gas tank..

The one I showed is from Australia but it was to show you the components. Remember you will have at least four vents to relocate.
