Now go mount that thing under your rig so you can see what you might get hung up on when wheeling.

its on my tow rig i guess you missed the part where i said when im backing up to my trailer...it mounts right above the liscence plate...

Nope, didn't miss that part, just had an another idea for its use.

Id love to have one of those for backing up my blazer at night. The factory tinted windows are a pain

it would be cool to have two of these... mount them just inside your t-case skid plate, one facing forward, one back. Add a rocklight near each one so you have some light if needed and you'd be set.... until a giant glob of mud covered the cam I guess...

I saw that too. I was thinking of getting it "just 'cause". I bet I could find alot uses for it.

I have something kind of like that on my rig.... only cheaper

they're called "mirrors" :D

pick them up and lets us know how you like it, I would like it just for my crew cab so when I park it I dont have to worry about hitting cars behind me (backing in).

Yes! I saw that one at my walmart too. And was contemplating getting it. It's nice to see that technology coming down in price from when stuff like that first came out. Definately on my "someday" list

I install camera systems all the time in the bigger boats at work... It's either that, or they pay me for the fiberglass repairs from them smashing into docks all the time...

Tho I'll just describe them as a little more "high end"..... :wink1:

Splurge toy, sure..

Useful on a towrig, sure...

Offroad? sure.. I would think you could find some out of the way spot for a cam... they are pretty small...

I actually think for serious rocks, it could be hugely beneficial to see "how" your dragging it over and what the rig "wants"...

There ya go, "honey, the Jimmy wants a pair of these cameras" :haha: I understand what you meant though. It would be cool if you could record stuff with them... would be great for offroad product testing

perv cam...

I know one guy who tows horses all over the country with a crew cab dually, that has one of those cameras--he not only uses it to help back the truck up to the trailer coupler,he also can put it on the trailer, and keep an eye on the horses--he also says it makes a great "up-skirt" camera at the riding events he attends..pervert!... :p:

My local Walmart also carries one that is built into a replacement license plate frame. Talk about a quick, easy install!
