1/2 ton status
1989 Chevrolet Blazer 4x4 $4000 OBO. I've had it for 9yrs and was building it to be my play truck but have just never got around to completely finishing it and now I'm ready to sell for a more daily driver friendly truck. It runs great. Just replaced sparkplugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor button, battery, and 02 sensor. It's fairly modded and I put alot of money into but that is just my lose since you never get it back out. Anyway I figure I'll just list all the mods
Stock TBI350 with Hedman headers, roller rockers, flex fan, ORD heavy duty poly motor mounts, dual flowmaster super 40s and TBI hot chip
converted to SM465 4spd with hydraulic clutch
NP205 t-case twin sticked with poly t-case mounts
flange output on rear output with HAD 1350 CV rear drive shaft
14BFF rear axle from 78 1 ton with detroit locker, 4.10, and disc brake converted. DIY4X shackle flip in rear with 7.25 shackles, 56in rear leafs, zero rate, 2in block, and Bilstein 5150 remote reservoir shocks
Dana44 front with cross over steering, 4.10, Warn Premium hubs, and 1350 front yoke. DIY4X B52 kit (adjustable spring position, poly mounts, upgraded spring and shackle bolts), 52in springs with add-a-leaf, zero rate, 7.25 shackles, Ford shock towers,
Bilstein 5150 remote reservoir shocks
YJ steering shaft
38x15.50x15 Mickey Thompson Baja Claws with about 50% tread. 15x12 Black Rock Crawler rims
Repainted 4yrs ago and paint is in good shape with a couple bad spots. no rust
interior is decent for a 22yr old truck. Dash is cracked like all chevrolet trucks of the era.
All power windows and power door locks work, but the rear power window is slow and might need a new regulator to work properly
When I converted it to a manual tranny and changed Tcase 4 yrs ago I lost spedometer and odometer so I don't know how many miles are on it now. Probably 170K-180K. Trans and tcase were rebuilt when installed 4yrs ago
What it needs:
Never had a front driveshaft made
high beams don't work and the wiper control inside steering column as gone out.
AC compressor is probably about to go out but heat works fine
I'm sure there's some stuff I forgot so please feel free to ask. Truck runs great. I drive it everyday for the past 9 yrs without issue. I've thought about keeping it if I get another vehicle but I know it will just sit and rot, so I would rather just sell it. It was my plan to make it a great trail truck but my interests have changed and will make somebody an awesome trail truck for a small amount of work. Any other question, feel free to text me or give me a call. Brad 229-395-9465 Also interested in any possible truck trades you may have so let me know
