Phyte: I don't see how a J**p is going to impress some exec, especially an older one. And I can see it now if you get the J**p and sell your K5...people will hunt you down. Plus with owning a K5 you will have that instinct to "build" it up...soon the J**p won't fit in the garage either!!! Park in the street...so you get wet...will you melt?!?! Keep the K5...Put some new seat covers on and take the floor mats out and wash them. My .02

Man I'm getting a rise out of you people :) haha. The whole perpose is not to impress an exec, I said I didn't want to buy a POS incase I *had* to take a suit out. Had nothing to do with the jeep. Screw it I'm just going to go buy an Audi S8.

Phyte

Well as long as the Audi S8 is bolted to a K5 frame

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!
That's all I have to say about this..
Damn Yuppies and all this "impress the client" crap..
If you sell the Blazer, you'll regret it.
And I've never had a problem fitting my old Jimmy in a parking garage.. but I'm with Laketex.. park on the street and walk to the building. They cannot dictate where you park.
Don't cave !!!

It's better to have it than to need it, than to need it and not have it !!!!

Just take the $10K you would spend on the Jeep on making your K5 nice. Just my $.02

I have 32's and a 2inch suspension lift and fit in a 6'8" garage. You should fit even with a 4" and 33's.

I think that you would find that jeep feels pretty unstable after a Blazer Ive had both.
Mrivan..........

Phyte, Hey buddy the Jeep your like is not going to fit eather in the covered parking by the looks of it. The CJ7 is a good 4x4, but it is top heavy due to the width of the axles. But if that is what you want more power to ya. Bring it to a mechanic that you trust to have them look it over before you spend your money. Good luck with the new house and getting that Indian you want, and I look forward to seeing ya at one of the rides.

<font color=black>the blazer is "Back in Black"

A stock blazer is is 6'1". Mesuered mine it is around 6'3". With a 2 inch lift and 32's. Would think at your hight you already have a lift installed. the stock measurment is from the 87 blazer sales brochore.
