Many thanks!! Always good to get screenshots because sometimes these vanish just as quickly as they are posted. I'm glad to have increasing numbers of guys on the lookout for these who alert me to them, and it turns one other guy did find the FB Marketplace listing for it: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1398900248022794/I grabbed a screenshot ... assume you would also be able to find it on marketplace.
*7/3/25 Edit -- seller replied to my inquiry late last night with a photo of its serial number plate, it is Chalet #0214 built in 7/76*Let’s keep it going.
Ya beat me to it - I have no clue at all how FB works and otherwise avoid the system like the plague, but resulting from your above alert about the rust pile Chalet #0314 in West Virginia, I logged into FB to get screengrabs of the listing to save for my permanent record paper printouts (kept in a fireproof safe), and in my generic FB search window for Blazer Chalets, it showed those two other listings. The seller is - I think - some kind of administrator for the "Wonderland Forest" concert venue property, where via one of my random searches for Chalets in FB three years back, I'd seen in two of their FB photos collection that they owned two '76 Chalets. I recognized the second one in the pair of listings you have, the #0063 Chalet with its white spoke wheels and black fender arches flares. Back in 2021- 2022 the "GarageKept" classic car dealership in Grand Rapids offered it for sale, with prices starting at $59,900 and ending at $44,900. In Sept 2022 some other guy in Syracuse was trying to sell it for $52,900. A year later my specific FB search turned it up in Wonderland Forest's photos, and when I looked to see if they had more of that one, I spotted the other unID'd rig. No amounts of my inquiries about photos of its serial number plate ever got answered, even when I emailed them to the company website.I don’t know why they keep popping up on my FB feed. This guys has 2 it looks like.
@a77blazerchalet Theres 2 in there, hopefully both are net new adds to the spreadsheet!www.facebook.com
Actually, only "net 1" to add to my spreadsheet concerning the listings of the two '76s, see my post #566 a few spots right above. Still no reply whatsoever from the concert venue administrator on what the serial # is for the rig without the slim black fender flares ....@a77blazerchalet Theres 2 in there, hopefully both are net new adds to the spreadsheet!
Lucked out on contacting the seller of this orphaned Casa Grande camper unit, it's only sorta orphaned, he still has the original GMC Jimmy it was on out of the factory. I've exchanged several PMS with him via FB now. This unit is #0874 built in 8/76, and the seller also sent me photos of the VIN tags, which I can add to my spreadsheet. I haven't yet found a list from either General Motors or Chinook that cross references the camper serial numbers with the truck VINs.

I think the seller here is a guy who found this #1413 (unless that is an "8" at the end of the SN, it's hard to tell for certain) must've found this one disused in some field and hopes to make a quick buck from flipsaling it. Ebay tends to be a killer on sales of rusted rigs, and its camper condition with the busted back door and blown-off-as-some-prior-time roof won't help matters at all. I ran across the Marketplace ad first and suggested to the seller that he add a photo of the SN plate to his listing and to his then-upcoming eBay ad - at least he listened to me on that last bit, but I'm not holding my breath on seeing a VIN tag photo for the truck.Looks like that one's on ebay now.
Yep, that's the above-mentioned #0063 Chalet with the thin black fender flares, the other unID'd '76 is in the background of those photos, listed separately by the same concert venue administrator seller. No reply yet from the seller or any new photo at the listing showing the camper serial number plate.www.facebook.com
FYI, seller revised this one to now include the original factory Jimmy. https://ck5.com/forums/threads/fb-m...casa-grande-project-in-divide-co-4500.351684/

Thanks for the alert, and yep, it was, posts #545 & #546 here back in February, however, I had not looked into that Marketplace listing in quite a while, so this new alert is good because it tells me I need to revise my 'for sale' map entry of the ad to show the seller's $4,905 price drop. Other obligations get in the way of my hobbytime fun, so I always appreciate others who can help me stay ahead of the ol' Chalet / Casa Grande pile!I don't think I have seen this one posted, nice mural on the side
