Thanks for keeping an eye out. I've run across, or had been alerted to, the entire "Chevrolet Promotional Film" copy by Perispope Films video around four years back, but I completely how I found it or who alerted me to it. Might have been somebody right here at CK5, but I can't find a link. The reminder of this film today is good because I needed to find the whole Youtube video link version so that I could put that link into my info reference notes in case anybody else asks about it. I must've spaced out doing that four years ago.
The first 4¾ minutes of the film are the standard '77 Blazer, and the Chalet part starts after that. The unique thing about this '77 rig is that it is a pastel/orange color combo, and I know of only two with that combo, one is the odd combo of a '77 truck with a '76 model year leftover camper unit that's being restored by my pal over at the 67-72Chev forum. In this video, the camper unit has '77 model year stripes, but has the '76 model year straight grain fakewood cabinet panels, '76 model year pull-down window shades and '76 model year interior lights with cone-shape lampshades. All '77s had a walnut burlwood-style grain on the panels, the pull-downs were straight across the bottom with no burnt orange color fringe, and the lampshades were just cylindrical in shape.
