Spring trip to Rausch Creek Offroad Park***June 9th & 10th 2012***

Dang! you're only like a half hour away.

Maybe go onto the Rausch forum and see if there is any clarification?

How east are you guys in Eastern PA?

If you familiar with any of the cities im 40 min from wilkes-barre, 30 min from reading and 40 from harrisburg.

The line mountain race is in line mountain, a pretty good distance from rausch.

No, thats directly from their site... Man I'd hate to show up for the "Bronco Roundup". How embarrassing that would be!

Where are you in NJ?

I'm in Sussex County, near Newton. Right on the border of Sussex and Warren County

Wayne, maybe you can clarify their schedule... The Big Dogs event is not at Rausch Creek on June 8th and 9th, and the Line Mountain race is also not at RC? Am I correct? I was looking at the weekends of June 2nd or the 9th. The girl I talked to in the office thought half the park was closed for a race on the 2nd, and told me to call back tomorrow, as she couldn't understand the schedule herself...

June 2nd is RCQ and All Ford at Carlisle. RCQ is at the park, it is the KOH qualifier. They do not shut down the whole park for it. I will be at All Ford and when I am done there I will be headed up to the park for RCQ. No matter what weekend is picked there will probably be some club rides at the park but don't worry to much about that. Big Dogs is not at the park and neither is Line Mt. RCQ weekend the park will be pretty busy though. I will look at my schedule at work tonight to see what weekends I have off.

Thanks Wayne, That helps a bit. The 8th, 9th, and 10th is starting to look pretty good if that's the case. Memorial day is around May 28th, and Fathers day is the following weekend on the 17th...

i am in bangor pa,which is about 1.5 hours from rc.its right on the nj border near where it crosses on rt 80.i have no real 4 wheelin friends in the area.anytime anyone wants to go and knows some places to go im good to go this summer.since mines a 72 i park it in the winter to keep the rust fairies away.just replaced a lot of rust last winter.i wouldnt be doing too hardcore stuff in mine but will attempt anything that looks doable.from what it sounds some of the harder lines there have bypasses to help that.i went to paragon a couple of times and used to go on fire trails around here but all that is closed now and i havnt actually wheeled my truck in a few years.still needs a few things, but by summer should be ready to tackle some stuff.

Sure, I know exactly where both you guys are. Only about a half hour- 45 minutes away.

i deliver to the shop rite in newton.so i know where you are as well.up 206 about 5 miles north of 80.i want to get upgraded axles in my 44 before summer.i still have the old stock ones in there with 297x ujoints.actually just really need my long side upgraded.the ujoint is dead and it is the necked down one as well so it is not the strongest it could be to begin with.the short side has the beefier after market stock replacement already.i was thinkin of puttin in the yukon replacement chromoly ones with my tax return.i also need to either get my hardtop put back on or get a rollbar made.its topless at the moment and not legal to take to rc without a rollbar or the top on.

Thats funny, I used to work at the Shoprite! So you can't take the truck topless unless there's a rollbar? Didn't know that...

I think that only applies to the full convertibles and not the half-cabs right? I have a softtopper on mine. Anyone know for sure? I've been contemplating a rollbar/cage anyway, but I wasn't in any hurry.

June 30th is my weekend off. Not sure if I can make it any other weekend that month.

If it is a full vert you need a top or roll bar/cage. A stock half cab is fine without the top.

Yeah just need cover over passengers in case of rollover.i dont know if rear passengers need a rollbar as well if youre topless on a newer blazer.thats funny you worked at that shoprite.i just met a guy down the street that works at the one in somerville and drives all the way from bangor.

Since I helped my big brother unload this thing on Sunday, am I allowed to come even though I'll be rocking something other then a K5:dunno: If a Grand Wagoneer is allowed to tag along then I would love to join in the fun:thumb:

I love Grand Wagoneers!

This particular one will be even cooler once we do the planned 6.0 4L80 swap in the somewhat near future :pimp: (won't be before K5's at the Creek) , but for a heep it is pretty darn cool :waytogo:
