Spring trip to Rausch Creek Offroad Park***June 9th & 10th 2012***

Count me in.

I've been on CK5 a long time, and I've been doing a lot of BS-ing and bench racing. I've never met anyone from CK5 except for B454rat and he's since gotten out of gm trucks.

I cant promise what I'll be driving. Even though I have months to get my butt in gear. I could be in a stock jeep or stock dodge.

I'm around Scranton Pa, also Bethlehem area and North NJ.

I don't think it will really matter what just along as you are along for the fun and brother hood of wheelin. I have a K5 that I prefer to wheel but I've come to enjoy the Jeeps also. Therefore I'm building a SBC powered YJ with a D44 & 14Bolt. Looking forward to putting faces with screen names.

I sure am getting excited for this trip. My brother was kind enough to send me a Craigslist ad last week for a Dana 60/70 3.55-trac lock axel set off a 93 Cummings powered Dodge pick up. I called about them and they were only a few miles from my brothers house so he went up to take a look at them. He worked his magic and got the pair complete tire to tire for $500. Now I'm on the hunt for a Dana 300 t-case so can run these axels with my stock 727 trans for the Rausch Creek trip. It's crazy how 6 weeks ago I told my brother I didn't want to swap axels and was only going to run 33"s and now the goal is Soa up front, shackle flip out back and 36"s. :dunno: things sure do snow ball quickly :D

Only 110 days to make this happen :eek1:

got that weekend aproved to take off at work :thumb:

wondering if i should convince my fiance to come with, she'd have to follow me all the way there in our Grand Chero. is there anything local for the woman to do? shopping.... stuff like that?

Mine said she will probably follow me down and go to lancaster...but she is a poor sport, she actually does ussually like to ride along

awesome score/good price on the axles.wish i could find that kind of deal.the yards around here still want 800-1000 just for the chevy front.then gota rebuild it still.the dodge axle would work if i could find one that cheap as well.im kinda waiting til i break the dana 44 first to step up.with 35s i should be fine though.you should have no problem runnin 36s.

I am off that weekend and will try to get there Friday evening. :waytogo:June is a busy month, I will be at the park 4 out of 5 weekends and the one I'm not there I will be doing the GM show at Carlisle for RC.

Back to the top. Who is doing what to their rigs?

Complete build on my "new to me" K30 :screwy: :doah: , including tube bed, axle swap, 52 swap, and a quickie frame shortening , so..........nothing major :dunno:

Well, I've got a lots of parts laying around to put into mine, but I'm in a holding pattern right now. My son went in for minor oral surgery almost 2 weeks ago and ended up with a serious strep infection in his right arm... He's spent the last week hooked up to an IV in the pediatrics unit, while my wife and I have taken turns sleeping on the sofa in his room. So far I've missed 5 days of work, unpaid of course! Hoping we get to take him home finally tomorrow!!! I'm hoping things get back to normal soon so I can get to work on the truck again. At least it's street legal and drivable, I may just end up fixing the small problems and save the wish list for after Rausch...

Im goin over the whole truck.just bought new front axleshafts and ujoints.so gota do those.check the rest to see if any more are junk.change water pump.leaking now.new fluids and seals on transfer case.try and find someone to build me a rollbar at a good price so I can go topless.finally get a inspection sticker so I can drive legally.been off the road a few years.

Damn, hope he gets well soon!! I know how you feel though, I have 3 kids and I have been there.

Fox 16" air shocks should be ordered today for the rear to replace the 14's. The 14's are then going on a friends moonbuggy. Redoing the engine and trans mounts. Adding some tunes. Hooking up the cutting brakes finally. Not sure what else will get done on the truggy. The Bronco needs some new fuel lines, some shock tuning, and waiting on the beadlocks to come in from Raceline. Once they get here it will be rolling on 42" BFG Comp Krawlers.

Not much progress here, my money situation was much better in the past. :doah: I will definatley be there though.

I have a stock K10 that needs a trans, and an exhaust. I'm planning on putting that truck back together and bringing it. I "might" put some used lift springs in it, but even if I do, its only gonna be riding on 31" BFGs.
