Square body on the road?

Um....and this is unusual how?

i think the 73-87 gm trucks are actually the most popular and long-lasting used vehicle out there for some reason? It's been quite a while since i've seen a 2nd gen camaro. Monte carlo, impala etc. should be as durable as a 1/2 truck---since they used the same parts, for the most part? But i haven't seen too many of those either lately.

i see at least 2-3 squares daily. And not the same ones either.

Those cars you listed I think people are sitting on them because their values sky rocketed what 15-20 years ago.

Bout 4 months back I saw an old man drive by in my neighborhood in a fully stock blazer. Except it looked like maybe a 2" lift. Didn't catch the grill but it was between '76 and '78. Damn thing was beautiful. All stock trim, pristine! Never seen the Gray and white color combo b4. I've been looking for him ever since. I want to make him realize that when it's time to let it go no one he knows will appreciate it like one of us.

Saw a red K5 this morning near Ace hardware in South Aurora... parked next to it and when I left put a CK5 sticker under the wiper blade.

Depends on where u live. I see them everyday. But with that said there not around like they were except with the Ghost of Squares Past.

My small town type area has many and my 85 mile round trip commute to work also helps.

I was in Jax and Orlando recently and did not see 1.

Not to mention they are few to none in the Junk Yards again depending on your location.

Either way these trucks are a passion and after all the years they are still a Home Run that is imbedded in ones mind that raises a unique interest when seen, also considering the last one was built 31 years ago.

One either feels it or not.

That’s what makes (Unusual)

alsoconsidering the last one was built 31 years ago

31 years:doah:

yeah, you look at cali, arizona, texas, NM and such compared to the northeast... and it's probably 20, 25 to 1 up here due to rot... i see more burbs than K5's, but it's exceptionally rare to see anything up here that isn't a warmed over beater waiting for "the CRUSHER" *said in goofy bugs bunny voice*....

I saw a SWEET square body 4x4 go by my house twice yesterday,it looked like a early 80's K-20 ,painted medium blue metalflake ,lifted about 4",nice meaty tires and no rot, sounded great too, like a warmed up 350 with glass packs..only one I've seen lately that is not as rusty as mine is..surprised whoever owns it drives it this time of the year here..

It just went by my house again, like 20 seconds ago!.....it has a Fisher Plow frame on it too,I noticed...kind of a sin to plow with a truck that looks as nice as this one does..
Whoever owns it must live nearby..strange I haven't seen it around before, but then I have not done much joyriding in my area lately either.

Actually, the last one built was 27 years ago (squares in 1 tons crew cabs, burbans, and K5's until 1991), just to clarify
