I want that bicentennial Colorado. Wanna sell it ?
I have a collection of bicentennials, just not that one.
What is the one above West Virginia ?
I have a few extra bicentennial plates including the mate to that one. I collect them as well. It'd prefer to trade for states I do not have if you have extras.
Here are a few more pics. I still have alot of plates to hang.
The bicentennial and 1976 plates make up 5 columns on the left side over the 1976 Suburban poster. The right side will be 5 columns of 1977 plates over the 1977 K5 poster. There will be 3 columns in the center with plates that will represent myself or my wife.

New shop heater picked up from military surplus today.
"Multi-Fuel" = burns anything ?...like waste oil,diesel,etc ...if so,score!.

Diesel, heating oil, jet fuel is what is on the labeling. But anything that can burn diesel can burn waste oil with some precautions.

It’s basically kerosene, no big deal.I want to see it burn some jet fuel.
AWWW, I wasn't going to pop his bubble so soon......
The tool and die shop I consulted for was located on the edge of a small private airstrip. If I was working outside when one of the private jets turned around, it smelled exactly the old "top hat" kerosene smudge pot heaters we used to use.
One of the guys there asked why that smelled like kerosene. I told him that Jet fuel was just low grade kero. He was shocked.
Friend of mine in the navy served on an older aircraft carrier. The big tanks inside there held both fresh water, and jet fuel.
As they burned off the jet fuel, they would pump some of the fresh water over into the empty fuel tank to keep the ship on an even keel.
He said, after they had been at sea for a while, SOP was to hit your cup of coffee with a lighter before you took a sip to burn off the kero.
Said it was not hard to dry off after a shower, because the water would just bead up and run off......

and unless you have direct access to jet-A good luck getting it . there is strict rules for dispensing it at airports and NOT letting it leave the grounds . plus it cost 2x-3x as much as kero does a lot of the times .
