Started my interior bed line prep (advice from Ryoken or others) pics inclued

Went with Raptor myself , but hasn't left he shop yet , so I have no input on it's durability
Sprayed floors of my tub inside & out , my tub was stripped & on a rotisserie so it was rather
easy to spray .
I was pressed for time , did not get the sound deadener off the rear wheel wells ,so I
will strip prep & spray them later on .......
Pretty happy with how it sprayed & how it turned out .......

Looks like yours was sprayed with higher PSI as mine looks thicker with more texture ( think those are words I am looking for). Looks good though.

What about overspray? Is this an issue inside a smaller shop? I know regular paint will float all over but what about this product since it's heavier than paint? My shop isn't very wide, I have maybe 3'~4' on each side between the truck and shelving or benches - should I hang drop clothes over them?

You should. I sprayed red "al's liner" about 5 years ago and even with drop clothes, I still have red "dots" everywhere. I had a guy over helping with some construction and he freaked out for a second when he noticed some red colored spatter on the handle of my miter saw. I joked that the last guy to help "wasn't available" anymore.

I pulled mine outside on the driveway and moved all cars etc. If you have a gravel driveway wet it down so you do not stir up dust etc.
Yes it does travel some and if a pain in butt to get off once dries! Mask windows, body etc on rig to the extreme!'

Pics of progress? This is next on my list and I'm really not looking forward to it. Really tempted to just get the whole tub sand blasted and start fresh..

You can see what's left of the pock marked floor. The forward end under the seat was a lot worse so it took a while to strip it. In the end it was easier to prime the whole floor instead of just the bare metal spots.

The pics are acting weird, please let me know if they aren't showing.

I warned you alot of prep but will be worth it! Make sure you put least 3 coats on in my opinion of bedliner.

Did you get inside the bed and walk on it while spraying the additional layers?

Also, once primed did you wipe the body down with anything or just blow it clean and shoot.

I used a crate to stand on twist body different ways and have a friend spot from other side to let you know any areas you are missing. Kinda make a prerun of how you would spray the truck to see how it feels and if you would get everything.
I started in front middle then worked my way to back seat step up,then got out and shot the front outer, got back in back did 1/2 the sides then 1/2 floor got out finished other 1/2.
Just need to see what works for you best.

Also test spray pattern before you start on your actually truck. PSI is the trick here along with the correct gun to shoot it.

I wiped it down with denatured alcohol I think and blue paper towels you go through alot. Do Not Rush any part of you work, take time as once you shot first coat have to wait hour to put on a nice second coat.

Make sure you mask off under dash area, body and anything you don't want covered as it will float in air little. I just got rolls of thin mil plastic from lowes/home depot and covered items up.

Need anymore info let me know.

Man, I come back and reread this thread about once a day lately...

3 coats? For coverage or is there another reason? I know yours is about a year old now, are you having problems with high traffic areas wearing thin?

I'm sure I need to get a mask for this, typical 3M "chemical" mask from Lowes / Home Depot good enough? I've never painted with more than a rattle can before.

first coat is really base coat in my opinion, second coat is where you really notice it , third coat is for thickness, protection and durability just my thoughts
