Steering Conflict

keep in mind that if you decide to put the tie rod behind the axle you'll likely run into other clearance issues, especially with hydro assist.

I had no clearance issues with hydro assist lock to lock and when flexed out lock to lock, but there is limited room for error. We cycled front suspension to make sure the mount was in the best spot. If i can find a photo i’ll post it. Hydro assist with hi-steer also uses a 6” ram vs an 8” ram, so that helps with the reduced range of motion and interference opportunities.

Never said it wasn’t possible however it can be challenge depending on the application. I mocked up a set of those arms on my truck and chose not to use them because of clearance issues.

Not to bring this back from the “dead” but found pics in a thread while looking for something else, so figured I’d post for ya.

Cool, thanks! I've been thinking about the double arms but I haven't done anything yet. I also considered trying some offset tie rod ends Parts Mike offers but I'm not sure how one would work on the pitman arm. Ultimately, they don't seem to be rubbing hard enough to cause real binding so I'll probably running it for a while and see how it goes.
