Steering issues?

It's because you swapped in the 60. It requires a way shorter drag link. I would have no problem slicing off about a half inch of that one longer drag link end
See I wondered about that, but everywhere I looked shows the same part numbers for a 1 ton truck as a 3/4 ton….2026 for the one end and 2027 for the other.

I just went and looked at the drag link I took off the old 10 bolt and there’s definitely some adjustment room left in that one…(when I put the 60 in I replaced everything with new) and with the 60 you’re right, they are touching….I can’t for the life of me find any different part numbers for a 1 ton

I had to cut down the drag link ends when I swapped in a D60. There's 2"+ of thread on each end so cutting 3/4"-1" off wouldn't be a big deal, cheaper than spending about $50 on new ends (assuming yours are good).

Loped about 1/2 inch off the Pittman arm TRE on the drag link, reassembled and was able to get full lock to lock and center the steering wheel. Im not sure if the manufactures just started making one size fits all TREs or if there was never a different listing for a 60 front end but that was definitely my issue, thank you to all of you guys for the help.
